Tasty treats for the home
Last summer, we were able to open our new ‘Hofmetzgerei Edenlehen’ butcher's shop, creating a modern & spacious working area, as our previous slaughterhouse had become obsolete after around 40 years!
Our children, Michael & Lorenz Hundsbichler, as well as our long-time butcher Erwin Stippler, motivated us to build a new slaughterhouse including a processing room.
Producing regional & sustainable products is of the utmost importance to us. The new farm butcher's shop is therefore also trend-setting and a foundation for the future in order to always remain true to our standards of animal welfare - sustainability - regionality - closeness to nature!
ANIMAL WELFARE
We source our calves & cows from our own farm, which means they are born here and have time & space to grow and thrive.
Our new Edenlehen farm butchery also offers neighbouring farmers the opportunity to have their animals slaughtered here in order to keep transport routes as short as possible and avoid unnecessary stress for the animals.
