Experience sustainability
This week, a class from the "Lycèè Agricole Naves" in France visited us as part of their excursion through Tyrol to visit farms in particular!
We were very pleased to give the students an insight into our daily work processes and to emphasise the importance of sustainability, regionality and closeness to nature! The Erbhof Edenlehen has been the centre of our history and philosophy for more than 500 years and supplies valuable foodstuffs such as our milk and dairy products or high-quality meat, where respect for the animal is always maintained and practised from birth to slaughter in the farm's own butcher's shop.
In addition to agricultural concerns, which include the Edenlehen meadow chickens, energy production was emphasised in particular. With the Edenlehen organic district heating, the Hundsbichler family has been setting sustainable accents for years, which were further emphasised with the photovoltaic system put into operation last summer, true to the motto: "In harmony with nature - living sustainability & tradition".
