Useful information about the Edenlehen

Non-smoking rooms:
All our rooms have be designated as non-smoking. We ask you not to smoke in the room. The entire dining room is also a non-smoking area.

Internet:
Free WiFi available!

Reduction for children in a double room:
From 2 full-paying persons in a double room:
0 to 3 years -100 % reduction, 4 to 9 years -50 % reduction, 10 to 15 years -25 % reduction,
from 16 years or 3rd person we grant a reduction of -10 % in the double room.
Family suites are processed with an extra regulation.

Travel with Dog:
Your four-legged friend is welcome, subject to advance notification, at a daily rate of € 20,- (excluding food). Final cleaning € 20,-. When choosing your room, please note that dogs are not permitted in rooms not indicated as such, nor in the dining room or spa area. Please bring your own dog blanket and basket with you! Many thanks! Per room is 1 dog allowed to stay in!

Bed and breakfast:
We deduct €10.00 per person from the daily rate. We would also ask you to refrain from using any type of cooking devices in the room. Your holiday should be relaxing and enjoyable and nothing is more delicious than our own fine cuisine.

Short stays:
For short stays up to 2 nights we charge € 5,- extra per person & night.

Special dietary requirements:
We are happy to prepare special meals for you with regard to food intolerances or dietary styles such as flexitarian or vegan! We charge a surcharge of € 10,- per day for the resulting extra effort and ask you to inform us of your wishes in time before arrival!

Deposits / Confirmed Reservations:
To confirm your booking, we ask for a deposit of € 250 per room. This amount should reach us within 14 days of making the booking. Our bank details:

You can use these account details to make a transfer payment for your deposit free of charge within Europe, with the exception of countries not part of the European Currency Union (e.g. Switzerland,...) or payment by credit card (VISA and Mastercard).

Group deposits are subject to special agreement. 

The quotation is regarded as non-binding information about the room rate at a given time. The quotation serves as a non-binding notification only. If a booking is required, a definite reservation must be made with a booking confirmation, signature and payment of a deposit.

Your temporary paradise is available from 14.00 hrs. Please vacate your room by 11:00 hrs on your day of departure.

Your hotel account can be settled in cash, by VISA , Mastercard or 'EC' debit card. 

Local tourist tax:
There is a local tourist tax rate of € 2,20 per person/day (starting from 15 years and is not included in the room rate)

We would ask you to provide details of the total number of people in your party at the time of making your booking. All our double rooms accommodate a maximum of 2 people. If you are arriving with additional people, we ask you to state the correct number and book additional rooms as appropriate!

Food intolerances and allergies are continually increasing. We therefore follow EU requirements by including the most common allergic information on our menu as appropriate. Please note that we are known for our traditional local cuisine. We do not offer kosher or halal food.

We would advise you that doctor's visits must normally be paid for upfront in cash, and then reclaimed from your health insurer at a later stage.

There is a smoking ban in all areas of Edenlehen. Our Edenlehen Smoking Lounge near the main entrance invites cigarette and cigar lovers to linger - cooled in summer, ventilated and heated in winter!

We support and live in accordance with the values of modern 21st century society, including the openness, equality and peaceful coexistence associated with it. Austrian culture is one of the the most tolerant and hospitable ones worldwide. We enjoy welcoming people from around the world to our hotel but ask you to respect our values and ideals.

In our culture, black is a symbol of grief and loss. Visual impressions, more precisely looking into the face of our counterpart, is therefore essential for building trust and coexistence.

We would like to advise you that strict traffic regulations apply in Austria and that, for example, children may only be carried in special child seats appropriate to their age. It is also compulsory to carry a high-visibility safety vest for every person in the car.

All facilities in the Edenlehen sauna area are available to adults and children over 16 years only. Massage appointments can be changed or cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours in advance. In the event of late cancellations or late arrival for appointments, the full cost of the treatment will be charged. Treatments forming part of special packages will not be reimbursed in the event of cancellation. We would ask guests to enter the sauna area without bathing clothes. Clothing such as swimsuits or swimming trunks, head coverings such as bathing caps etc. are not permitted due to hygiene regulations.
We would also ask you to respect these regulations in the indoor and outdoor pool areas by wearing appropriate bathing clothes. Swimming in normal clothes is also contrary to hygiene regulations and is therefore not permitted.

Our diligent chamber maids work daily to ensure that our rooms are kept clean and attractive for you. This is not only a service, but also a duty, as the Supreme Court has made clear in numerous decisions.
As operator of an accommodation service, one can & is allowed access to the hotel rooms at all times.
Here is an excerpt from the ruling: "A hotelier is obliged to monitor the hotel's room, facilities and their use. Not the guest, but independent of the question of the hotelier's duty of maintenance, any defects occurring must be rectified, he has the right of regular access to a hotel room (e.g. for control and cleaning purposes) irrespective of the wishes of the guest. On the other hand a lessor in a landlord relationship involving rooms can demand access, where this is necessary to safeguard his interests that are worthy of protection and it is reasonable to expect from the lessee (§ 1098 ABGB Rz 4 mwN).

We will be pleased to note your wishes regarding specific rooms and floors. However, we reserve the right to make changes.
